The exhibition area of natural heritage of the Korean Peninsular where you can compare natural heritage in South Korea with one in North Korea
The exhibition area of natural heritage of the Korean Peninsula, which is helpful in widely understanding natural heritage of the peninsula by comparing natural heritage in South Korea with one in North Korea being managed similar to the S. Korea, explains the natural monument system of the North Korea district, and is a place filled with exhibits which you can compare natural monuments and scenic spots in South Korea with those in North Korea. The area exhibits the only life-size tiger stuffed specimen in the center, and the mammoth skeleton fossil, having been donated by Director Park Heewon and been restored for over two years with sheer South Korean technology. Especially, the fossil is a specimen excavated in the Siberian permafrost, and is exhibited with a fossil of the real hairs and that of skin; and, with Augment Reality technology applied, the area allows you to view, on a transparent screen, the mammoth to be revived above the skeleton specimen while you compare both.
